| Kelly's Kids Clothes Make Their Way to the Children of Africa. | |
| We are proud to share with you exciting and rewarding news from the home office! After a donation of clothes, we received these hearting-warming photos and a humbling letter from a friend of Kelly's Kids, Sister Mary Bether Kubera, a Sister of the Daughters of Charity. She wrote the following:
How can I ever thank you enough for the thousands of pieces of clothing you have sent for the children of Kenya and Ethiopia! You will never know how much it means to these children to have ONE or TWO pieces of new clothing. You can tell by these pictures how very pleased the children are and how grateful we, the Daughters of Charity, are, too! Sister Catherine distributed the clothing in Kenya to three sites: Thigio (her mission), Nairobi, and Chepnyl. The Sisters were able to give clothing to the poorest and most abandoned families; and, they were also able to share some of the smaller clothing to mothers who gave birth to their children in prison.
